“You saved my life!” Lionel Easton was emotional when he thanked his Guardian Angel Dr. Melissa Forbes. Mr. Easton presented Dr. Forbes with a Guardian Angel pin at the Ottawa Valley Family Health Team in front of many supportive staff and friends. Mr. Easton was recuperating after heart surgery when something went wrong. He was immediately rushed to the Almonte General Hospital Emergency Department where Dr. Forbes instantly recognized the problem. Mr. Easton was very impressed with time and attention given to him by Dr. Forbes and the team in the Emergency Department and wanted to thank Dr. Forbes.
