These Volunteer Services Committee volunteers have been faithfully meeting for several years, and performing many behind the scenes activities to support the Almonte General Hospital. These women have done fundraising, decorated and undecorated the halls and units of AGH, bought Christmas gifts for the patients on Rosamond Wing, bought plants for the back garden and planted them, helped with the Volunteer Appreciation Event, and supported the Junior Volunteer program by sponsoring a bursary, and providing an honorarium to the Student Volunteer Leader.
They are women who can be counted on to come through and help the hospital whenever they are needed. They are dedicated, kind and patient-focused. They have contributed countless hours in service to AGH in their regular volunteer roles, and as members of the Volunteer Services Committee.
They are truly Guardian Angels for all that they do to support the Volunteer Program at Almonte General Hospital. As the Volunteer Services Committee restructures, these pins are presented by Chair Mary Dillabaugh, to honour their contribution. We know that they will continue to give their time and talents in a different way, with the evolution and restructuring of Volunteer Services.
Thank you to each of you for your gift of your time and energy.
