Whether its organizing their annual Strawberry Social, helping with BBQ’s, special events or just a friendly visit with a resident, the Fairview Manor Auxiliary is aways there to lend a helping hand!

Paul Brennae and Mary Wilson Trider April 2019Every year during Volunteer Appreciation Week, Mary Wilson Trider, President and CEO, presents an exceptional volunteer with a Guardian Angel Pin. A recipient of the Guardian Angel Pin is recognized by peers for showing enthusiasm and greatness. This years recipient is described “as having an infectious attitude, is enthusiastic and very dedicated.”

One of the people who nominated this individual stated that “ I look forward to interacting with this person as they are always spreading joy and happiness.” This person has done a tremendous amount of work for the Hospital performing in many roles over the course of the last 2 years. This person sets the bar high and truly makes a difference.

Congratulations and a big thank you to all the volunteers who give so generously of their time, talent and treasure to support patient care at the Hospital and resident care at the Manor. More than 13,000 hours was contributed by volunteers in 2018.
